More informationOK BackNorth Italian Barbute, circa 1465, 1.6 mm steel-battle-ready-Very authentic reconstruction of a late medieval barbute-helmet. The original of this helmet is exhibited in the Musée de l'Armèe in Paris.It is embossed with a stamp of the lombardian town of Missaglia, where it probably had been made between 1460 and 1470 AD.
This reconstruction has been made by handcraft and is strictly following the example.It has got the same slim cut, the same pronounced comb and the decorated rivets.The helmet has a high-class, adjustable leather inlay and is covered with leather inside.
